Childrens Programs

Junior's Class

The Juniors Program is for students ages 6 -12.  This class follows a traditional Japanese Karate Curriculum to meet each belt level requirements.  Students are tested and promoted to the next belt level upon meeting certain criteria.  Classes build cardiovascular fitness as well as increase flexibility, balance, and strength.  In addition, our program helps to improve body awareness, control, precision and improve self esteem.

Little Tiger's

The Little Tiger's class is specifically designed for the three year old child.  Classes concentrate on developing balance, coordination, flexibility, and stretching while learning basic punching and kicking fundamentals.  Students will have the opportunity to develop and increase their memory, attention, and motor skills through games and repetition. The character building learned in this class (such as turn taking, respect for peers and adults, as well as boosting self confidence) will transfer over and cause improvements in home and school behavior.

Little Ninja's

The Little Ninja's Program is geared towards children age's four and five.  This class is slightly more advanced than the Little Tiger's and teaches basic stretching, blocking, kicking and punching techniques.  Students are instructed through games and drill training to develop coordination, balance, self confidence, respect, and an overall sense of accomplishment through training.  The Little Ninja's program acclimates students into the karate school atmosphere and offers preparation for advanced children's classes.

Intro to Grappling for Kids

This complimentary class is an important one.  Martial arts come in various styles and in order to be well rounded you must be able to defend yourself in all areas.  Not all altercations take place standing and many times will end up on the floor.  Intro to grappling teaches students to be prepared for just that scenario.
